Quest invites submissions for an upcoming miscellaneous issue. The journal welcomes original, unpublished articles that engage critically with the study of Jewish history in the period comprised between the mid-18th and the beginning of the 21st century
As a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal, Quest encourages contributions that engage with Jewish history through a variety of approaches, including but not limited to:
– social, cultural, political and intellectual history
-religious studies
– anthropology and sociology
– memory studies and public history
– gender studies
– migration and diaspora studies
– history of antisemitism and Jewish-non-Jewish relations
Submissions may address any geographical area and may adopt comparative, transnational, or micro-historical perspectives. The journal particularly welcomes articles that combine solid empirical research with strong analytical and interpretive frameworks.
Practical Information:
– The deadline for submitting papers is 15 March 2026.
– Submissions must include:
– full title
– abstract (1,500–2,500 characters, including spaces)
– 5 keywords
– a short author biography (5–10 lines)
– Research articles should be between 30,000 and 60,000 characters, including footnotes and spaces.
Both abstracts and full articles should be submitted as an MS Word file by e-mail to: questjournal@cdec.it
The journal issue is scheduled for publication within 2026.
